I created this mural on the back wall of my classroom in 2009.  I was put in a room with no windows and a huge blank wall.  Since I was teaching United States Government, I decided to paint iconic American symbols to add to the ambiance and theme of the room.  Eleven years later, the school that housed this painting is being torn down.
